Born in Pennsylvania and with three siblings, his family has lived mostly in the mid west with roots in Michigan. David attended Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, MI. with a major in visual communications.  He currently lives in St. Petersburg, FL. with his husband Christopher. Several moves from Michigan, NYC , Delaware, and Italy have led him there to continue and grow his art career.

David has been a member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters, a member of the Morean Arts Center, has shown in Woodfield Fine Arts Gallery , Graphi-Ko Gallery, and @Stuido620 all in Saint Petersburg, FL.  Solo exhibits in Bubbles & Pearls restaurant, Wilton Collective and Bona Aperitivo Art Gallery in Wilton Manors, FL.  His work has appeared in more than 10 solo exhibitions and over 100 group exhibitions in the United States.  Many pieces of his work are in collector’s homes throughout the United States and abroad and including the use of pieces in a Hallmark television spot.

His main mediums are watercolors, ink, and acrylic.  His work reflects abstract and contemporary bold uses of color, black and white and a love of expressionism for a dramatic impact to the viewer.
